DESCRIPTION
The South Fork Nooksack River Project will acquire fee title interest to ~55 acres of left bank floodplain in Tier 1 reach of the South Fork Nooksack River with the goal of protecting Chinook habitat and habitat-forming natural processes. Coho, Chum, pink, sockeye, winter steelhead and bull trout will also benefit. The property was purchased 11/20/13 under an approved Waiver of Retroactivity by the RCO-SRFB (#13-40; 10/16/13).
